lcd flat screen tvs, lcd hdtvI'm in the market for some LCD flat screen TVs for my home. We have a home theater already, but we watch television in almost every room in the house so we're shopping for bargains on the LCD flat screen TVs. We are in no big hurry since we can always watch the home theater, but eventually we want to have the flat screen TVs in each room. We like the fact that they can be wall mounted, which saves so much floor space. The LCD HDTVs are so nice and dispense with the need to have converter boxes all over the house. We don't use cable or satellite TV because of the expense, preferring to rent DVDs from the store or the library. We get tired of having to mute out the commercials on network television stations so we choose to watch documentaries and movies or public TV. We get the news from local news shows and read the paper online. PBS has wonderful evening news programs that does not have the bias that some of the cable channels do, so we watch that for world news. Once we get the LCD flat screen TVs in each room, each of us can watch what we please, when we want.
