The detail on the screen is awesome and this technology is probably contributing to a boom in cosmetics that promise anti aging properties. Recently I saw a tape of myself on a LCD HDTV and decided it was time to head to the cosmetics counter for anti aging creams to stop the flow of time on my face. Living in the desert has many benefits, but pale, youthful skin isn't one of them. The sun blasts almost everyday and after a while, it takes its toll.

The LCD HDTVs are wonderful to watch movies and TV shows on, however. It's also nice to watch videos on the LCD HDTVs of events, family and friends. I'm just starting to use my digital camera as a camcorder and learning the ropes of making videos. The digital technology gives us incredibly rich images and the technology for editing is pretty simple. A friend of mine makes digital videos for a living, and she has been giving me some pointers about it.
