In the world of HDTVs it seems that the 1080p HDTV is winning. It’s not that the 1080p HDTV is a fairly new technology—it’s been there for a while—but now it’s the time that prices are starting to fall and people are jumping at the chance at getting a 1080p HDTV. If you don’t understand this impulse, then I suspect you’ve never even peeked at an 1080p HDTV. I still remember, the first time I saw a 1080p HDTV, well I kind of remember because I was hypnotized for about 20 minutes and when I snapped out of it I knew I had found a new love. Imagine, coming home getting ready to see your favorite show and when you turn it on it’s almost as if your favorite characters just came to visit you in your living room. Well, your 1080p HDTV is not going to teleport anyone to your living room but I think it get as close as technologically possible. Once you get your new love make sure to also get some home theater components to keep it company.
